Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Neredeydi application ("the app"). By downloading, installing, or using Neredeydi, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

License and Use

Neredeydi grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA shall govern.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use Neredeydi. If you are below the age of legal majority, you may use the app only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Description of Service

Neredeydi is an entertainment and educational application that provides geography guess games covering Turkish provinces, mountains, lakes, rivers, plains, and four world continents. The app includes a Daily Mystery, four game modes (classic, timed, reverse, learning), a home-screen and Lock Screen widget, a Siri shortcut, and optional Apple Game Center leaderboards and achievements. The app is available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Pricing and In-App Purchases

Neredeydi offers a free tier with full access to the Provinces (İller) category, one free game per day from the other categories and world regions, and the Daily Mystery. A one-time, non-subscription Pro upgrade unlocks unlimited play across all categories and world regions:

Local-currency pricing in your region is set by Apple based on Apple's price tier system and may differ from the figures above. The price displayed on the App Store at the time of purchase is the price you pay.

Purchase Terms

The Pro upgrade is a one-time, non-recurring purchase. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charge of any kind. Payment is processed by Apple through your App Store account at the time of purchase. The Pro upgrade unlocks features for the Apple ID that completed the purchase and may be restored on additional devices signed in to the same Apple ID via the "Restore purchases" function in the app's Settings.

Refunds

All purchases are final, except where Apple's standard refund policy applies. To request a refund, please use Apple's Report a Problem page; refund decisions are made by Apple at its sole discretion. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.

Content and Accuracy

Geographic facts, place names, distances, "fun facts," and statistical information presented in Neredeydi are for entertainment and general educational purposes only. While we make reasonable efforts to keep this content accurate, we do not warrant its completeness, currency, or absolute accuracy. Neredeydi is not a navigation tool, an authoritative geographic source, or an educational substitute for primary references. You should not rely on the app for navigation, examination preparation, professional research, or any decision where geographic precision matters.

User Conduct and Game Center

You agree to use Neredeydi in a lawful manner and in accordance with applicable Apple platform rules. If you use Game Center features, you agree not to attempt to manipulate leaderboards, submit fraudulent scores, exploit bugs, reverse engineer the app, or interfere with other users' experience. We reserve the right to coordinate with Apple to remove fraudulent leaderboard entries.

Intellectual Property

Neredeydi, including its source code, visual design, mascot ("Pingo"), curated geographic content, copywriting, and bundled assets, is the intellectual property of Kuthay Gumus and is protected by Turkish, U.S., and international copyright and other applicable laws. The map rendering library used by the app is the open-source MapLibre Native, distributed under its own license. The geographic boundary data is derived from Natural Earth, a public-domain dataset. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app or its content, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

NEREDEYDI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF GEOGRAPHIC CONTENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, NEREDEYDI. THE DEVELOPER'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD 5.00, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Neredeydi after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time for breach of these Terms or for any other reason permitted by applicable law.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app shall be resolved exclusively in the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence requires otherwise. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.
